Blown Up 755

06 rmk 700 (755) blown up on MAG side piston, cylinder, and bottom case blown out. What to do now. Anyone got one of these motors for sale or have the same problem? Will a 900 motor work in place of the 755 without modifications? Or should i just cut my losses and part it out? I've seen some not so nice pictures here on SnoWest of the 755 and mine looks like the same but not as bad. Help.....Not sure what to do:confused:

Sorry to hear:(:( As far as dropping a 900 in there, yes, they are identical motors, the only thing different between the 755 and 866 is the top end and ECU flash, bottom end is the same.

^^DITTO..

you can get a used motor from ebay..or get the parts to make it a 900..

--900 pistons
--reflash the ECU to a 900
--900 head
--900 cylinders

PARTY TIME...

Lots of effort in parting it out... listing the parts/ photos answering questions, shipping, tracking etc.... lots of work.

As for the 900.... pretty easy swap..

You will also need the 900 exhaust and clutching setup for that...

The power differnce is pretty big though!

Should be able to find "big bore" top end necessities readily on E-Bay and in this swap meet area. Sounds like a good "sleeper".
