blown 2 strokes?

was reading through the turbo threads and was wondering if anyone has built carbed 2 strokes with a belt or gear driven compressor in the past years with any kind of success?i know that the 4 strokers have tried superchargers but what about 2 strokes(and i'm not talking 'bout the screaming jimmy diesel either-lol)

Only 2 stroke blowers I know of are from a guy in Lake Havasu building them for outboard motors. But sounds interesting.

It has been tryied with some degree of sucsess, but is a lot of work. I think portgrinder had his hands in one for a school project.
