Blow Hole and Holz console vents are the bending?

I was wondering if the aluminum vents such as the blow hole and holz console vents are getting bent from knees bashing into them?

I had the holz on my assault and they bent a little bit but not bad considering how many times my knees hit them. You had to look at them pretty hard to tell they were bent. I was always waiting for the time after slamming my knee into one and seeing the rivets rip through the plastic but it never happened. The holz are a good product IMO.

My holz haven't bent. I've hit my knees up there a bit and no problems. You can also leave a little more plastic than the stencil suggests.

Heaps of hot air come out the two by your knees

I pulled mine off. Bent them back straight and put them back on. Great vents.

I have the same vent's on my 2011. Yes they do bend a little. I have built in knee pads in my Motor Fist pants and my knees don't hurt. Other riders without knee pads complain about their knees hurting because of the vents. $.02
