Lol I'm an SDSU student, but gotta respect NDSU for stomping(beating) FBS teams on the reg. Its funny though because all the comments on facebook all say how bad Iowa is and how they expect the Bison to win after x5 championships in a row. I think NDSU is good enough to play 1A, but obviously money and other sports aren't quite there yet.

Iowa is a solid tough team, but like last year, has a panzy @ss schedule. They played well and won their two tough season games last year, ended up going undefeated. Then got throttled by Stanford at the bowl. This year will be a repeat, but i think theyll have 2 maybe 3 losses in the regular season. NDSU, Wis, and maybe Nebraska. Dont know what to think of their game with Michigan yet, MU plays an even more panzy schedule!

I'm a bandwagon Bison fan, and don't like or dislike Iowa.
I honestly think if the two teams played ten times that Iowa would win nine. They really are the better team.
Like most teams in most sports that play to the level of the competition.
That's what we had Saturday from both teams, but the important stat shows on that day the Bison were the better team!

What year did they come up from DII?

They went DI in 2004 I believe; been in the Missouri Valley Conference since 2008.

As far as the Hawkeyes go...what a game! I was only able to stream the audio, but the last 5 minutes had me on the edge of my chair.

And...go Wentz! He's had a couple solid starts now with the Eagles, hopefully he can keep it up.

Don't get jealous Gruden has nothing but praise for everyone. He doesn't want to burn any bridges for future head coaching positions.

Wentz has been impressive, toughness, steps into throws even when there's pressure, and he's been impressively accurate for the lack of reps he's had. This week will be quite a test for him, hopefully he does well.

Probably the most impressive win of the weekend. Pats shutting out the Texans, and the Bills pounding the Cards were also very impressive.

Ha, yeah I have a lot of friends/classmates that went to school in the Briton(sp?) area that are definitely proud that he is representing. Glad that the Bison have finally been getting some of the appreciation they deserve for being a competitive team(I cheer for them in out of conference games). I think teams are finally going to be forced to show some respect to SDSU and NDSU even though they are 2A DI schools
