Long Over Due But here are the prototype Billet control arms and spindles designed by CO-BE MotorSports!

I rode this set of slightly modified spindled last season and was impressed. Im praying for enough snow to test the rest. These will be on display At the Puyallup snow show!

WOOO HOOOO!!!

Nice Work Kreg.... Seems I've seen that design before for some reason...LOL.

Keep on trukkin brother!!

Yeah You might know a guy... that knows a guy Eh'.:D

Are you headed to the show ?

I have been working my arse off getting these done.now I hope we can sell some so get my $$ back .

Looks cool, what is the pricing?

Testing first !Now that I have made some and know where to improve I can strart sorting those question out . our goal was within 100.00 of the competition if I remember correctly. At this point just getting some done and ready to test has been the priority .I have been thinking about how to make this happen for over a year and every spare moment for the last month building 3 sets and required fixturing. If they were for sale right know they would be 2500.00 per set. but If I can do 10 sets and not have to make fixtures thats an entirly different story.Maybe If we are lucky we could be ready to sell after Xmas. I am entirely confident in the design and there is still considerable room for weight reduction and increases in strength.

One awsome thing I think about is being able to easily repair these with simple inexpensive parts.(Rod ends )are cheap/light and should be a breeze to carry and swap in the feild with the same tools you already carry its hard to carry a set of arms. and if the threads in the arm do get damaged thread inserts would be a better than new repair. I am considering that as a standard item for the lower arm/ spindle joint as that has by far the most stress .

To be very blunt I never considered these as a low cost option.but obviously it has to be within reach of the average nutjob like myself or success will be limited. Definetly a Niche' market. But thats what I like ! Maybe someday HOlZ or SLP will sign me up foor a fat order or somthing but if I can make a buck doing it thats good enough.

Are you coming to the Puyallup show?

ill be there as well...along with the wifey, and skisucca..

ill be the big headed man beast with an empty wallet...cant wait...

I will be there all weekend Im even working a 2 hr shift in SAWS booth I hope we can all have beers.

Sean the arms will be on the CO-BE sled where ever he is displaying and I thought he said he may have a set of modified spindles on the fastrax PRO-RMK but I will wait and see on that. I probably wont bring that much to the show i wil not have much else ready by then . These arms burned all my time. I am in full swing at the shop I should have my powder coat shop up and running in the next 2 weeks too.

no worries there buddy, we can always get some stuff from you when your back home and get back on track...gotta make the current commitments first!!!

looking forward to meeting you guys there, and checking out these bad boys...

sorry! cut the last one short! kids were crawling up my back ! anyway these 3 sets would be 2500.00 for the time and $$I have in it. its fawking ridiculous 2500.00 would be a deal. if I can make 10 sets thats changes things a lot. I have a bunch of ideas to improve the process to save time too. prototype is as much about improving the manufacturing process as much as the actual product.

I think there is real potential with these because they are ambidextrious ( left or right ) and the rod ends being the sacrificail elemet make it cheap and easy to replace even in the feild . I dont think you will break the arms very easy.

When they are tested thats a deal ! The blue hardware is the tough one though I havent found a supplier for blue rod ends yet,
