There have been some wolf sightings in NE Nevada the last couple years and a very sensible (been around for a while, seen a few things) county commission recommendation was "shoot on site." I guess that's why I love living in the wild wild west.
I didn't shoot it. I was a back up guy. It was shot 4 times by the guy holding the head. The bear was walking away, the first shot was from 40 measured feet away.

seemed like I saw the wolf pics this fall from around Idaho City - Lowman area in Idaho. Yeah, wolves are getting plentiful in Idaho - two have been killed by cars on the highway around Arco in the last 2 yrs.
