I've always thought that every american alive should spend at least a few weeks in a 3rd world country just to realize how d@m spoiled we all are here in the states.

Been there, done that! I spent 20 years in the military and spent time all over Asia and SW Asia. Korea, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, etc, etc. How are we spoiled? We can work hard and make a living or choose to say "whoa is me" and demand that the Government take care of us. Other countries have different situations that we cannot control...and if we try, we screw them up so bad they end up hating us for it.

The thing is, I don't live in Uganda. So in Utah I am merely middle class.
