there are two other former world champs that suffered the same fate.........wayne rainey (world champ 500cc grand prix) and david bailey (world supercross) both in their prime at the time of their injuries. walker evans son, evan, also has suffered this injury and is still racing CORR. it is a part of some of some of the sports we love. i'm shocked it hasn't happened more to the "x-games" guys. not too mention the injury that alex zanardi suffered. i wish blair perspective. i assume he has mental strength from watching him race, and i know he has love and support from his family and fans. i have many friends that have suffered the same injury, and they are among the most active people i know. it is a long, hard road with a lot of education. i wish him godspeed and know he will help a lot of people in the future. chris reeve sure did.

my prayers are you with you blair. its crazy how many amazing great people have been hurt.. doug henry (probably the baddest rider know to man to over come things and well rip chirstoph and jermey..
