Best way to run 2 extra injectors

I am getting back moving on my 4 cylinder M1200 project. Does anyone know if the ECU has the power to run 2 injectors off one of the factory injector wires? Or do I need a driver? I was hoping to be able to just added the extra injectors and use a boondocker to change fuel (with a bigger pump and reg setup). This is not a turbo motor (NOS) but I know you guys add injectors so I thought it would be a good place to ask.

I would think that if I can run the stock M1000 ECU setup and find a way to add 2 injectors then I can run the M1000 crank and 180 degrees. Then use twin plug coils and wire them in and I all should run like stock.

I know that some of the EFI systems you can just had the extra wires for the injectors, and some will have to much draw and fry the ECU.

I talked to Boondocker and they said no problem with adding the injectors, I am going to buy a second box that way have control over all 4 cylinders and not just 2 at a time.

This seems like one of the most convoluted ways to get where your going on this setup.

are you maxing out the stock injectors? if not then i see no reason why you would try to add more trouble.

if your maxing out how much more fuel do you need? 2 more injectors is a LOT more capactiy, and if you only need like 10% there are other ways to get there.

I think you are missing what I am trying to do. I am taking a twin M1000 motor cutting the cases / pressing the crank to add 2 more cylinders with the big bore it will be a 2400cc 4 cylinder. So I am using the 2 extra injectors to run the extra cylinders.

I guess I was lost also, I thought you were building a 1200cc 4cyl or two M6's together.....lol.

Love to see some pics of it.

WOW!

Two questions?
How are you going to pull it over, and where are you going to ride it? ..... :yo:

Hand held starter is the plan for starting it. This is going into a ZR / Thundercat 144". I am realy only building it for grudge match drag racing. I started to build this as a 3 cylinder about 2 years ago. I was going to trail ride it. Then I got into the new cat turbos and just lost intrest in building it. But I got a few other projects done and thought hell a 4 cylinder would not be as hard to build. And I have most all the parts. I am going to run 2 y-pipes and 2 singles, Stock igintion / EFI 180 shot of NOS . Here is a link to when I started the 3 cylinder with a few pics.

I just pulled all the cases out today and so now back to cutting to add the 4th.

Very cool project.

How do you time cranks? 180 vs 120 etc...

Are they gonna fire 2 @ 180* or 1 every 90*?

So I wonder if one of the boxes like the dobec, boost it. etc would be able to read stock injector pulse and just mirror it for the extra 2 cylinders..... Im sure a set up like this would probably be the best set up as long as the system was quick enough and didnt have a noticable delay.... 2 ecus might be a bit tricky I would think....

Im sure there is a way to do it with one of these boxes... you may just have to do some custom wiring.....

Sweet project!

We do alot of cranks, I have fixtures to index them. 180 you can also check the center sections with 2 indicators to make sure you are right on.

I was going to go 90 degrees and use a MSD and carbs but after doing some reading 90 is not that way to go. Started cutting on the other cases tonight hoping to have them all cut this weekend. Then finish the top plate and start welding!

Don't give away all your secrets :) but lets see some current pictures of this monster. Sounds very cool. What distance are you racing?
