best way to fix tear in gore tex bibs?

put a small tear in my brand new bibs the first time i wore them on sunday. just ripped a 1/4" spot through the outer fabric did not go through gore tex. looking for a way to seal up the hole...

I would take it to a seamstress and have them hand stich it back together with some polyester thread.

you might try an iron on patch but that may melt the goretex.

good luck cuz if you dont fix it water and ice buildup on bad days will make it worse and eventually get the gortex.

I would stitch them up and then put some shoe goo or other clear flexible adhesive over the hole.

Do the bibs say "Klim" on them? Send them in for warranty repair if they do.

tear-aid tape. I use it on my white water rafts. I have used it for repairing a platypus bladder, tent, pants, heck I think it will even hold the wings on a 747. I would put it under your repair area and hand stitch it back, then add some to the outside or like said, aqua seal.
