Best way to align clutches at home?

1/2" straightbar from hardware store....do a search and you'll find the answers. Fun part begins when you want to actually change your alignment!!

Personally I would float the clutch. Use can use a straight bar then add shims to the secondary. Or another fun way--you can remove the primary clutch spring, put it back together and put it on the sled. Open up the secondary all the way and clamp the primary together. With the belt flat in place measure how far the secondary is from a fixed spot and place spacers accordingly.

thats good then. now you should have some practice aligning them, so when you do mine it'll be a breeze for ya:beer;.

You wouldn't let me tear yours apart to mock up a turbo, so the only way you get the clutches aligned from me is when you buy a turbo kit:D. Besides what about your fantastic warranty?? Shouldn't they take care of any clutch issues?

I don't think that "fantastic" warranty will cover that particular isssue, much like it prob wouldn't cover my motor if it grenaded because somebody had a great idea to throw a turbo on it;).
