Please do post pics when you can . I'm pretty sure ill order one I have the original and it's great. The additional features on that one are really cool . Looks like you could still use the under seat bag as well.

I had an original as well, pricy, but FANTASTIC set up. Never leaked, secure, easy to remove, tough to forget to latch, and solid.

Pulled the trigger on this one last night. A set of Mountain Addiction gas cans and I'm set for the winter :face-icon-small-coo

I'm having a hard time finding a bag to fit the VEI tunnel. The opening between the cross bars is only 9" x 15'. The only bag that actually fits is the snobunjie bag but it is far from waterproof.
I'm really surprised in the lack of options in tunnel bags.
Skinz makes a large selection of bags that are custom fit for specific sleds, but their website leaves much to be desired and they never show up to the snow show in our area and as far as I know there isn't any dealers around either. So that option is tough.
True adventure gear has one that sorta fits but not very good.
I like the sled solution bags but they don't fit at all and they are way overpriced for a tunnel bag regardless of how good they may be.

I'm actually in the same boat as you. I have a homebuilt VE-style tunnel, and finding a bag is tricky. I found a fitment chart on the Skinz website, and I think I am going to wind up using an Arctic Cat or Skidoo bag that is the correct dimensions. Take a look, the chart has LxWxH dimensions for each bag, so you might find something that works. I'm also considering removing one of the cross bars to allow a slightly longer bag to fit, just not sure how it will look.

Working on the position, I am waiting for the tabs that use the running board bolt holes, they are in the mail.

Yeah, I saw their fitment chart, but it sure would be nice to see what each bag looks like. Maybe they should post 2 good pictures of each bag next to the dimensions.

Same basic idea is pictured in SRXSRULE's pic he posted. It's a black tunnel mount roll up dry bag. In case you want similar, that is black and has a good mounting system...

His bolts to tunnel. This one straps in. They are basically dry sacks with straps on them. Only issue is the stitching makes them non submergible like a dry sack.

Used the large burandt bag all last season and was very pleased with it. Can't say for sure how water tight it is because I open it so many times during the day when it's snowing, lol! Never had it get loose even after rolling my sled and I do that a lot:face-icon-small-hap

Water Tight? Or Waterproof? The bottom two are waterproof, but we have gotten moisture in both of ours. The top was the most water tight but is the bulkiest and most expensive. 6 with one and Half A Dozen with another. All great options though, just nothing that is all three things needed yet, smaller, completely water proof, and affordable.

Condensation is not the fault of the bag. Ride all day with the bag in fresh snow and cold and pull it into heated garage. Things inside will be wet when they weren't out riding. Waterproof and affordable means China and quality will then not be there.

Did you put wet gloves or something wet or icy in the bag? E-series are waterproof, I never had any issues, but i never stick wet items into bag because it allows moisture to transfer to other items since the bags are waterproof and not breatheable from the inside out. also be sure and store the bags OPEN at home in the shop. so whatever moisture is in there drys out and doesnt come back next trip out. I have had cardboard food boxes in my bags for 3-4 days of riding before and no issues of them getting wet... but Utah is a drier climate than WA and north idaho...

Thanks Phatty, this has been what we've experienced as well. When I pull my sled into the barn after riding and leave everything closed the next day will be wet. If I leave it outside everything inside is dry.

May not be one of the bags on your list, but I have been very happy with this setup... A Craiggerbuilt QRS bag that is 100% waterproof in the main pocket where I keep my lunch and anything I want to remain dry, and then a Polaris shovel bag (not waterproof) where I keep all my tools, tow strap, and other things (in zip-lock bags) that I want to carry along with me. Shovel bag is pretty nice for the extra stuff as long as you put in in bags to keep it dry or don't care if it gets wet.

If guys are worried about stuff getting wet, stop by cabelas and get some dry sacks. they come in a ton of sizes and they are submersible.

Have tools in a black bag and keep in all the time, red for first aid and another colour for spare gear, could even have one for wet stuff.

I go on a fishing trip that you canoe and portage, walk up rapids and go down them. It rains and snows and all my stuff is in large dry sacks and everything is dry as a bone.

I saw this bag at the snow show .it was water proof and had a flexable quick release mounting system I was impressed heres a pic. there web site is www.holeshoting. com sorry picture won't upload for some reason
