Best Tuner for 6.0 Powerstroke

I am curious what people are using for their 6.0 Powerstrokes. I am looking mostly to increase fuel mileage and gain a little power. This is my work truck so the boss won't go for any super expensive stuff. The truck is an 2005 F550.

We have had good luck with Edge evolution or SCT as far as price and performance, the Edge has the monitor and SCT is just a flash tuner, otherwise you can go with the livewire but its more $$, we are a dealer for both, if you have any questions PM or give me a call 507-533-6674 Thanks Terry

i use the triple dog power pup from bully dog and it gives great power and its shift on the fly. not on the real expensive side but u cant really do much else with it. the mileage really isnt any better, maybe 1-2 mpg.

I had a custom tuned SCT (9915 I think) and it was great! Not sure about better mileage but certainly woke it up. My truck got stolen and I had the programmer behind the back seat. The insurance company covered it as I had my original reciept so I bought another one but never installed it. I got rid of the truck and I still have the brand new unused programmer sitting around. If you are interested make me an offer. It has three tunes in it, a economy tune, a tow/haul tune and a performance tune.

Go with Edge and you will never have a problem. Comes with gauges, and i gotta say I've sold and installed hundreds and never had a problem 1. Evolution or juice with attitude.

Old style Edge Evolution (Not CS Evolution), Bullydog Triple E3 Diesel Tuner or Bullydog Triple Dog GT Diesel Tuner if you're looking for just mileage and a little bit of HP increase (35HP-60HP ruffly). All 3 are very affordable and would be sufficient for your needs. PM me if you'd like prices.

SCT with custom tunes from Eric @ Innovative Diesel. They have an excellent tow tune that you can calibrate your tranny and also closes the viens on the turbo when off the gas(helps slow the truck down). By far the best tuner for the 6.0

bully dog triple dog. that way when you get a different work truck you dont have to buy a new programmer. Just take it with you. I am running one on my 2000 F350. great power and fuel economy gains !
