Best suspension out there

M10 for sure, call Trevor Cox in Sicamous, great price and mech. 250-836-3648. I ride with Rene and I think he has 12,000 km on his M10 in last 2 seasons and raves about it. He does have hyd jack which makes adj in seconds!

Trevor is installing a M10 174 skid in mine, great ride, and awesome control.

Ez-Ryde

Lots of guy ridings different suspensions.
On skiDoo 1200 I have rode M10 and Ez-Ryde.
Gotta go with the Micku boys and Ez-Ryde for sure as I love the way it picks up the skis in the bush but when you get on it hard it transfer great to bring the skid down the harder you push it at the steep stuff.

plush ride on the trail for sure.
4 Wheels in the back always for me and anti stab wheels up front.
I hear great service from Timber sled but the most broken suspensions in our shop! not for me.
I think they are all improving alot the last few years. setup is key!

Racers Edge - Also 4 wheels in the back. :face-icon-small-win Best quality skid on the market right now IMO, if I were starting a new build, this would be the only skid going in it.

AA, i see you also have the QuickAdjusters, they are sweet, very fast adjustment of ski pressure,
here are a couple pics of mine, also 4 wheels, of course,

I had the same question a couple months ago. After all my research I decided to go with Kmod. I will admit I overlooked Racers Edge a bit. I guess I should have started my own thread. It appears to be a good option. I have had personal experience with Ez Ryde and have been around Timbersled. Timber seems to all about the wheelies. EZ is a pretty good balance and an excellent choice for the bumps. I went with Kmod hoping to get a good balance like the Ez with hopefully a bit better ski control. After talking with Kevin one time I knew he was the type of guy I wanted to work with.

I went with the 4 wheels only because it seemed to be a much stronger choice. Are there other reasons to go with the 4 wheels?

i used to do a bunch of riding up in northern sask and know how great it is and i would say a racers edge or even a timbersled is the way to go if looking to drop that extra weight. racers edge has durabilty of stock will boondock great then just adjust the blocks and it will perform like an m10. in my opinion a cr10 or m10 is a waste of the extra cost because its meant to keep the skis down in big hills with big power. its capabilites won;t be utilized in sask riding.

anyone got any pictures of the racers edge setup
Just picked this up last week. It is for my kids sled, and he elected not to go with the adjustable front limiter strap because he thought he would never change it. He's probably right.:face-icon-small-ton

But an Float up front? Ooohnoooo :face-icon-small-win
Haha. Whoops..sorry! This is an add on that Racers Edge does not offer...yet. I just went to the Yamaha parts book and ordered a front shock for a 2010 Nytro, and look what I got.:face-icon-small-hap

I would talk to Kevin at KMod. I rode his skid under a Nitro and a few Apex's. I could not get the Tnytro to pic the ski's up over 6 inches above the snow. Th Nitro was a MCX running 17PSI. The ride was really amazing. It went up the hill with all the trenches, bumps, and it felt like they weren't even there. Kevin is also a very honest, good individual to work with. You WILL NOT go wrong with a KMod.

Yeah, i had that option to,,, but i decided not to choose it because i don't like Float's in the skid,,, if Timbersled and Kmod had only one problem with their skid's it would be the Float's, anyway the ones i came close to,,, and cynical as i am i see a reason to why they now have options for the Float's.

Well Mr Baker seems to know what he is doing and has made a very well built/ working skid and said he has try different front shocks and the fox float is what he recommended , i realy like the skid and get very good service from Darrell ( on new things he is coming out with )

I ride a CR M-10 and love it but my question is what are the differences or benefits from guys riding with four, three, two, or even big wheel kits? Is there a theory to thier choice? thanks

Great, i'm glad for you, but you will not see me replace my coilover's anytime soon :face-icon-small-win
do some reading,, i share your opinion about the skid,,, not the shock,,, there are much better ones out there,,, and that's not only my opinion!

I think it is a strength issue with some guys. I have built 3 Apex’s and 1 Nytro and ran 2 wheel inside kits on all of them and never had a problem even at 24+ pds of boost so I’m not sure why they feel like they need this?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
