Mods or no mods current or old.. post your opinion of the best sounding sled ever. Just reflecting back a bit today.

My pic is the 1992 Indy RXL 650. stock

Most any triple/triples.
My favorite was a ZRT800 with PSI pipes....Horny.
Close second was SXViper with Bender triples.
Third was the thunderous roar of PSI 1500/1800 Triples with PSI pipes.

God I miss those sleds...

Still miss my Mod T-Cat with the D&D triple 1000cc and triple pipes, Dyno'd at 225 HP, 478 lbs wet ready to ride.

Sounded like none other and 100 mph track speed for climbing the steep and deep made for an awesome sled.

To me it's a toss up between RX1/Apex & triple triples (as long as they are not obnoxious loud)

Icky sounding = 2 & 3 cyl 4 stroke

I would have to agree with the 650 RXL motors, stock sound never sounded better!

Mountain Max 700 with triples for sure! Ski Doo should have made that motor and then they could have actually sounded like bees.

How could I forget about Rated R(For sale btw - $39,999 by owner in Chilliwack)

I heard a few horny Apex's too, Irmen's was particularly badass.

And the 2 cylinder sled I found the horniest was a 670 UB mod with Jaws pipes and 4" stingers. REALLY LOUD, but when it was singing at WFO it made a beautiful sound!

I'd put this one up at the top. Hearing it in person ups the woody factor significantly. Custom SLP 795 or 797 stroker IIRC... Thing was a rocket.
