Hello.
I`m thinkin about buying a protective vest for my body.
The most injuries i`ve had is actually on my upper body and my arms.
The Klim vest and the TekVest looks really good (all the rest of my gear is Klim),but i really want a vest that protects my arms too.
What vest do you think is the best and most moveable on the marked?
I tried a AXO mx (air cage) vest yesterday and i thought is was really good.
I see that Alpinestars also have one but i dont know of any other.

I've just bought the Freerie vest from Tekvest and think this is a wery good option, but as you stated this wont protect you'r arms, maby this one from Halvarsson's will(?)http://www.jofama.se/snowmobile_wear/product_details.php?id=58&cid=4
I've seen Tekvest's with ad on's on the arms, but they just look like silly arm rings in my opinion.
Fox deliver a whole range of different protective gear and comes at a fairly good prize too...

Checkout ebay ,I just saw tek vest with arm protection by BRP buy now for 114.00 regularly 229.00 but you'll have to hurry, there were only 19 left when I checked.

Klim vest is a tekvest I believe. I have the Klim and it fits great, buddy has the tekvest and likes it.

Mine is called a Thor impact rig, it's basically a mesh shirt with plastic armour built in to it. I wear it under my jacket, it has a removable spine protector and kidney belt. The chest, shoulder and elbow protection is not removable but I don't want to take it off anyway. This set up along with knee/shin pads has saved me some pain in the past, I won't ride without it any more. I don't even notice that I have it on when I ride.

I have the Klim vest,I really like the shoulder protection, makes carring a heavy backpack seem like it isn't there.I would never ride without it now.

what you are looking for is an upper body armor rig. like a 661 pressure suit, alpinestars bionic, these have chest and back protection, built in kidney belt and shoulder to arm protection. the run from about 100-300 depending on the style and model. ski

skidooboy:that is what i am lookin for..but i was wondering if anyone had tried any of theese armour rigs...and how the quality of the different brands are.
