Best running board replacement for a 2011 pro?

I am looking for opinions from people that have gone to an aftermarket running board on the pro. I like the look of the new Burandt board, but curios what everyone thinks of other products out as well. Thanks for your input.

Skins and B&M are great boards. I've installed a few Skins and run them myself, however I will be installing the Burandt boards and taking off Better Borads on my '11 today.

me and my buds run feethookers. cheap, easy to install and they WORK

Glad you like them!

There are a LOT of great options out there. The Air frames and Burant boards are both bad *ss. IMO Feethookers are the best bang for your buck @ 165 raw, $175 black powder coat. The outer Pro Saw edge really stiffens up the running board.

airframes are the bomb. I liked the stock ones over the burandt boards because they had bigger holes in them. Powder coat the stock ones on the 13 and they would be better imo. What is the price dif between stock 13 and burandt?

I am not sure of the price difference between the stock board and burandt, but I was looking for something that will stiffen the board up over stock and also create larger openings in the board. I am not a big guy, but I have still managed to create an arc in the stock ones on my '11. Thanks for the pictures of some of the different options out there.

I picked up my '11 RMK Assault this summer and did a lot of research on boards. Everything I read said if you can scrape together the cash for a tubular board, be it Skinz or B&M Fab, then do it. I ended up going with B&M also.

Had I only been able to budget an insert design, I had planned on trying the Feethooker Saw boards.

My budget didn't allow for them, although I really liked the B&M Fab Boards. I did get a front bumper of theirs however. Their stuff rocks.

So for boards I went with WRP Boards, which I am very pleased with. Good traction, easy install, look great, and really stiffen up the sides. Oh and did I mention they really eradicate snow build up, unlike the stockers. :face-icon-small-hap

We have the MadFab inserts in stock for 129.00. They work really well and require no cutting of the sled. They lay in the footwells and get riveted down.

B&M boards for me too. The customer service was TOP notch, the product is TOP notch and the install instructions were clear enough that my 8 year old did 90% of the work. The boards are much more rigid now and that sticky spring mashed potato snow didn't have a chance of sticking to them.

Best boards, IMO.... are the Skinz Airframes... the outer edge tube is super thick-wall.

Snow just does not stick to them and you can put traction where you want it.

This season, many dealers like SledSolutions have them in stock.

As a second... the Burandt Boards are pretty cool too.

What are the widths of the air frames, diamond S, burandt boards and stock '13s? Is there one that is better than the other considering width (assuming wider is better for better footing).
