Best Rev XP exhaust setup? 08' 800 154"

MMMMMMMM, Clams !

I believe that Slim is telling you to take the "Clam Shell" off the pipe.
....Kinda sounds like an entree' at the good restaurant!!
Ace

Yes, remove the clamshell insulation and take it/send it to your local ceramic coating shop. Loses 4 lbs. and looks great. Performs as well or better than stock due to the consistent coating allowing over-all warming of the pipe, wonder why the manufacturers don't do this??

Thanks for input guys

I got a HPS can, won't have time to get the pipe & Y coated before we leave on the 20th.
I may try Swain Tech coatings this time, I didn't care for the way the ceramic coating I had done on my previous Rev stained & discolored.

Understand, I found from the ceramic coat shop that the discolartion won't happen if you give the newly coated pipe a good polishing with "Mothers" I did all ours and they look the same as the day I picked them up from the coaters shop. 500 miles and 3 mths on mine, 200 miles on Jo's. (Before the wreck)
