Best Programmer for Checy 5.3?

Looking for input from 5.3 Chevy owners. What is the best prograamer for them? What is best for hauling or running empty? What were your mpg improvements? This is in a new 4-door Colorado.

I've gotten as high as 24mpg but average 18-20. I also have a mass airflow sensor, exhaust, and intake too. More power, response, and you can set shift points etc.

my 08 5.3 hauls in the rain, problem is even if i turn stabletrac and traction control off it hesitates until 20kmph on dry pavement. its super f*cking annoying... i want a chip that gets rid of this factory programmed hesitation

thats the torque management B.S. that GM has on all there trucks. i'm pretty sure none of the aftermarket handheld programmers will do anything with it. you need to have a custom tune done to take it off. u can buy EFI live and try tuning it yourself or there are some companies on the web(westers, blackbear, etc.) that will program a computer to your specs for about the same as a handheld chip but with better gains.
