Parking lot at Vail Pass comes to mind

The lot usually starts around Floyd Hill, so there's good riding there?:face-icon-small-win

I've been on Vail, Kebler, and up around Grand Lake. Out of those and what I've seen, Vail would win for play.

Sure there's way more around Grand that I haven't seen. Not sure what it's called where I was at, but didn't ride out of town.

Like Vail, but until they start enforcing chain laws, I've had my fill of I-70. Suppose I could access from Redcliff.

I'm south, so hwy 50 or south of there would be sweet. Ophir looks low traffic, but not so great for play?

On the for real I don't know as much as I should, but I've managed not to kill myself yet. Thus the jest of this thread.

I'd rather knock my teeth out playing ramp tramp, than get buried sidehilling.

Even with a bag you get buried, Just ask the guy that deployed his bag last week in McCall, Good thing his buddies where educated

If you are including the whole state, I don't know how you could overlook Grand Mesa from either the Grand Junction side or Glennwood Springs. The Mesa is HUGE. Certainly there are dangerous areas but having ridden from the Junction end, you could ride for weeks and never tempt an avy. I'm not sure the snow up there was as good as other areas of the state this year. Normally it is a powder haven.

Don't want to overlook anywhere, trying to learn what's out there.

Guessing the Mesa did allright this year? GJ radar looked pretty good, pretty often. Atleast mid season. Elks did good, and Aspen & SM faired well.
