So based on the fact that 2016 will likely be a new Pro RMK, I have decided to buy a 2014 slightly used sled and put some money into it for next season.

What is everybody's thoughts on best bang for buck performance mods, as well as best light weight options for the 2014 Pro RMK?

Thanks in advance.

I agree, and if you want some Mohawks I have a set with one ride on them you can buy. Well you can choose I have black or white bottoms and orange loops ;). A little to aggressive for me. I will stick with my powder pros

Bumper
Footwell vents
TRS mod
Rev rubbers
Storage bag(s)
Turn up oiler if necessary
Different bars/riser if necessary
Ride it like ya stole it.

MTNTK Fix Kit or Bikeman Durability kit after 1000 miles or so. Big gains in botom end and midrange, 4 or 5 horse on top and forget about piston and ring issues if you assemble the kit correctly.

Footwell block off plates
Balance and install correct weight/spring in primary clutch
Set up shocks/suspension properly for weight
Adjust ski stance for what you like
If you are riding off trail mostly try removing sway bar, see how you like it without.

Curious about what you are saying is Correct weight/Spring and balance in Primary (mine is running great with setup dealer did, but I don't know if it's stock)
Where do you get the footwell block off plates? I'd like one for QD side and a couple clutch side moflow's is all I'm doing on mine so far with about a dozen rides/350 miles on it...

Clutch weight spring depends on elevation, I found balancing locally for $50, well worth the cost. I clutch for my elevation above 9000 and found the 10-58 and SLP Blue/Pink spring works well.

Some dealers are on board with doing elevation setup some ignore it all together.

Mike Taylor foot well plates are nice, he sells them on here.

Turned up oiler and a terra alps big bore. The 860 definitely gives the pro that extra HP to make it a really fun machine. Oh yea cant forget the HPS can, really nice deep sound.

Ya, that makes a little more sense... my question was vague at best (knowing about elevation clutching differences, should have been more specific on that). Mines clutched for 6-9k, honestly surprised how well it works in varied elevations and conditions (dealer must have a good setup)...coming off over a decade riding doo's and constantly messing with TRA rollers, pin weight, springs, clickers, Secondary helixes n springs, etc.

I started with a 858 on my 2014. it did have amazing power but now I'm running a 156x3 track I got from supreme power sports. I Los did their clutching. stock motor now with track and clutching! couldn't be happier
