Best Material for sled deck?

I keep my 2plc trailer outside and have used waste oil on the wood every 2yrs for the past 16yrs... Works good and is cheap. Just brush the oil in the wood and let the oil do it's work. You may need a couple coats the first time through since the wood will soak a lot in. I usually do it in the summer time. It will be slippery for a bit, but then again plastic is too.

the plywood on my deck is 4 years old and still looks pretty good, the only rough spots are from the carbides. i soaked both sides and the edges with thompsons water seal before i put it on and now just apply it to the top side once a year. if i remember right i used plain 1/2 inch cdx plywood.

You can get 3/4 plastic in place of plywood. Not sure where to get it. It is gray in color, way heavier, way more money but it is a one time deal. That is what I would do.

buddy had his plywood coated with rhino lining, was actually in expensive to just spray the sheet, deck will last much longer than normal pressure treated plywood. the bed liner is also nice and grippy for walking but slippery enough for sled skis.
