best keep secret... what hp does the silber make at 7000 get with 7lbs

the hp numbers on the web site and posted here seam to be hush hush, will be getting out with aq few soon, and want to know what we are dealing with, what is the maximium boost with 91 pump fuel, and whats its hp

we are doing a maximum hp on 91 octane comparsion for a poker rally as well

LOL... Who do you know with a dyno at 7000 feet? What honest hp does you sled make at that elevation.:face-icon-small-con

last year we ran into a tdragon, he said he was 200plus and it was a beast, i had the 880 that day that does a lot less and had the edge, so we new real quick he was not even close to the sugested hp for that boost

would of thought someone would of check it out by now

Who cares wha the max hp is. As long as it climbs what it's pointed at and rips in the trees that's the important thing.

well i'll take a guess, my mod sled, 445 lbs, 204 n/a at 4500 ft (known) friends turbo dragon full weight sled at 8 pounds intercooled, at 7500-8000 feet multible runs ran dead even.....at 5000 feet i'd pull him every time pretty good.
both sleds perfecty dialed in and swapping riders around as well.

so best guess is that at 8 psi d8 makes around 185-190 ponies. at 5000 ft

i guess i didnt really notice mine was much faster than any of the sleds i rode with.. we never lined them up or anything but when it came to climbing they could only get half as high as me poaching my tracks.. i think you need to really load it down to see the benefit on a mountain sled. unless your set up specifically for drag racing your buds.... but then isnt your mountain sled pretty worthless in the mountains?

CLUTCHING,FUELING,SUSPENSION,TRACTION MOST IMPORTANT.

Fred there is sleds like that every where. Guys go out and read you buy this pipe or head combo, big bore kit or turbo and it will give you x amount of hp.. so out with the visa. And then the, "my sled has 240 hp or 300hp at x amount of boost" But then no clue on how to tune the sled . There is a young guy here that has a bd kit on his dragon and he was getting beat by stockers last year. So what does he do? he bough a meth kit thinking thats going to work . Now its going to fly right?.. Wrong, he over looked the most important and thats clutching and fueling the sled correct. But hey parked at the cabin with all its stickers and the low cut windshield it sure is fast.

Im not saying that the sled you speak of was tuned poor but lots of factors. When you say you had the edge i dont doubt it happend

Just got my Silber Pro back. 8lbs. of boost and I am making 265HP. At 11k feet. No kidding, I would not exaggerate HP numbers. Honest. It's the internet. How can one inflate numbers here.:face-icon-small-ton:face-icon-small-win:bolt:

Ohhh Sam.. Is that all? I heard a etech turbo makes way more than that @ 7 psi boost on pump. lol

well sounds like we are going to meet up tommorow in fernie, only dam place that seams to have decent snow, set the etec for 7 lbs and threw a gallon of race for good luck

added a cold air snorkel the other night

ouch... gotta hate having to cut into the sled for a cold air intake. Heard the aerochargers are working good on the etecs, did you install the turbo reeds? One of my buddy's left the stockers in and they only lasted 3 days. He upgraded to some others and is in Revy now.

yes i also blew the stock reeds out after third day, anything over 3lbs and the dont last

my second set of reeds were tony dukas turbo reeds, and so far with around 200 miles on them they are real sweet, they have reed stops and all has been good, so far the kit has run great, but hope the engine can stay together making that much power, at 7lbs it hitting in the 70mph track speed with a 3 inch on

here are a few vids from revy a few weeks ago
