Best Insurance For New Sled...

Just picked up my 09 rmk dragon and need insurance for it. What are some of the better companies to go with and what kind of rates are you guys getting?

i have mine insured through foremost, and they are covering everything i have on my sled as well turbo etc.. w/ replacement values not depreciated values

State Farm

Mine is also state farm, paid $267.00/year. Full coverage. That also include coverage of my upgrades to the sled. 09 Dragon 155, Clutch, Skid, Holz front. And I don't have a single vehicle or anything else covered by state farm. May soon be switching that if they want to offer low rates though.

I just covered mine with american family for $280 a year. 09 rmk 800 with unlimited aftermarket parts. Turbo and all that fun stuff. Full coverage

State Farm here too. About 250 a sled for the year, full coverage, uninsured, med payments and such

State farm is a joke around here for me!

They wanted $240+ for my pile of crap MACH Z I switched to Allstate and now I am paying $134.

State farm was also double on my 4 wheeler as well. My dad made the switch and it was almost $500 a year savings with the same coverage.

I had a tough time getting my MXZX 440 insured because know one has it in the system. Allstate put it in and it is just a couple of buck more than my old sled. I think he said something like 140 something a year for my 07 440. Never had a problem with them either.

BTW if anyone wants to try an insure a 440 allstate has it in there system now thanks to me!

$100 deductible if it is stolen $250 if you pile it into a tree.

Home/Auto/Sled/Trailer through State Farm 100% Replacement for Sled and Add ons W/reciepts $500 Deductable @ $225/yr. I made sure they knew it was getting a turbo shortly to the tune of $4K and change and they said no problem just keep the Reciepts.

I'm in Sacramento. $300 ayear full coverage, theft, act of God ect. $250 ded. 2006 m7. Foremost, I even filed a claim last season for 1600 in damages. Rate barely changed this year.

I am with Farm Bureau and pay $140 a year for $10,000 coverage for my 09 800 XP. I don't remember my deductable but that is full coverage.

Hope this helps,
Kory

Farm Bureau, 06 Summit 600 @ $5000.00 $88.00, 07 Summitt 800 @7000.00 $114.00, He approximated the 09 Summit 800 @$10600.00, $140.00 ish. per year, all $500.00 deductible. I think there are variables, for insurance rates, credit and insurance history, longevity with company, other policies from same company etc.
I carry my insurance on the sleds year round, my insurance guy says if sled is in the garage during the summer and it is not insured separately and the house burns down the company will not pay, they are motor vehicles and are not covered under household insurance, same with wheelers.
