Best helmet/goggle set-up for non fogging

I tried the No-Fog and did not like it. Found the Klim Arctic and Glaciers to be much more comfortable.

If you can, buy both and try them out and return the one that does not work. That's what I did.

IMO fog comes from sweat or breathing. I've found that you do want some air movement around your goggles and most important is that your breath box fits your face. I switched form a shield to goggles in 2002, I have never had my goggles fog.

Says 6 hrs on a charge. What happens when the battery is dead.

I only turn them on when needed, usually when stopped or slow riding. They are maybe on a hour a day depending on the conditions. ABOMs are the only set of goggles I have wore the last 2yrs.

Exercise and exercise! lots of cardio!
Helps with Googles fogging up and your riding in general will improve :)

Thanks.... Thought maybe you left them on full time. Didn't know.

I found a good one

Google the CKX Titan helmet on the web. You can get them with goggles for $265 shipped to your door. The concept is to remove the face protection when digging your buddies out or doing some serious sweaty type stuff. I have ridden with them one day and was really impressed. http://www.ckxgear.info/titan/

They work awesome but you need a helmet with a large opening for them to fit.

How easy is it to change lenses. Which lense colors/light conditions are you guys rockin?

I have a set of Klim Oculus.... Love those. I need a spare/second set... Might have to pick up a set of these.

I run fly F2 with 509 Revolvers. Never had a fogging issue

Lenses are just as easy as any other goggles. We all have red and yellow as a backup. Its usually overcast here so red is the go-to.

And yeah they can be left on if you want, or on for 10 minutes at a time. While they are on, you can give them a boost too. So if you leave them on full time and boost the power every 30 minutes they only last like 4hrs. But that is pretty extreme. We usually just do the 10 minutes at a time when they start to fog.

My 509's will fog when you just look at them. Will never buy again.
My 509 aviators used to fog terrible too when I had them in my 509 carbon fiber helmet. So now I have a klim F4 very well ventilated helmet and I have zero fogging issues with my 509 aviators. Nothing wrong with the 509 helmet except for I perspired in that one way too much so there for my goggles were fogging. In my opinion there really aren't any bad helmets or bad goggles. Everybody's different everybody's got a different combo that works well for them

I rode with an Arai helmet for years and I now have the new Klim helmet. I had goggle fogging problems occasionally until I switched goggle brands to the Dragon. Best dang goggle that I have ever used by a vast margin. I tried most of them too including the high dollar Klim goggle (it was a POS). It was the only Klim product that I have purchased that didn't work. Anyway, look at the Dragon goggles. Great value and great looking too. You can't beat that combination.

wellll I was going to say because we will nock anything that does not work well our brand included theirs a lot of peeps. out their that are so loyal {blind} they will swear something is great wile they watch it crumble in front of their eyes...... but yea what indy said to :D

I bought a group of NoCry goggles to test my prescription glasses when gardening or simply hunting or fishing outdoors. I'm VERY impressed with how easily they slide over your glasses without moving your prescription glasses and really impressed with how comfortable they're. you cannot even tell you're wearing them. I bought the configuration front which is transparent and has a collection for outdoor within the sun. I can highly recommend both supported my previous use. The price is phenomenal too.

This is a very heavy helmet . . .just FYI.
The website says 1750 grams (+/- 50), so that is 3.8 to 4 pounds.
Good backcountry helmets weigh 950 (ish) grams - which is about 2 pounds.
You will pay a premium for these though. Airoh is a good one and so is Suomy.... $350 to $600

When it comes to a goggle that doesn't fog, right now, not sure there is anything "BETTER" than the 509 Ignites.
