Best Goggles

Yellow. ProVue snap lenses work well here. By far the best color for most people's eyes. We all do see abit differently.

FWIW, I'm surprised ProVue doesn't have an enforceable patent on their prescription goggle product. Perhaps someone else owns it.

Finally, HaberVision does/did make a big deal on their web site of supporting certain eco-nazi groups, CarbonFund.org, The Wild, among them. Every purchase results in a donation, so they say. Do any of you guys understand how this works? You are funding people who want to take your sled away, forever. Get a clue.

"You are funding people who want to take your sled away" if that is true of haber then that would be a deal killer for me! Milehighassassin, confirm or deny?

I don't buy at REI for the same reason, they give a huge donation to the sierra club every year, the mother of all these econazi groups.

I don't know enough about EVERY single partner or cause that HaberVision supports but from the little research I have done:

Carbonfund: Not anti-snowmobile. This is a group dedicated to teaching you how to offset your carbon footprint. I was unable to find anything on their website that directly says they are against powersports. They focus on educating people on how to use less energy.

The Wild Foundation: Wilderness group, but they seem to focus their work on coastal areas, Africa, and work on a larger scale.

Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies: Pretty clear, I cannot find anything that shows they are anti-motorsports. HaberVision has a large fishing community. I personally have no issues with this.

HaberVision has shown that they SUPPORT snowmobiling. They support the Pink Ribbon Riders
They have supported our local club on several occasions as well as some other snowmobiling events.

IF you look closely you will see that we support many snowmobilling groups as well. Like I posted above, not all of the groups on there are CLEARLY anti-sledding.

While there are a few groups I would rather HaberVision not be involved with that is not up to me. Habervision has clearly shown their support for snowmobiling as well as other motorsports.

You are going to have a hard time finding many companies that are as divirsified as HaberVision that do not support any groups that might be anti-riding. Even companies like Yamaha support coastal study and wildlife groups. As a hunter and sportsman myself it is a VERY fine line to walk. Buy from Cabelas? They support many of these same groups that "might" be anti-sledding as well. As a sportsman I want to see environments set aside or preserved for animals and fish. I don't think anyone wants to see pure pollution in the areas that we hunt and fish. Again it is a balancing act.
