Best enclosed trailer?

I am going to buy an enclosed trailer I have a few questions.
1-how long do I need for 3 sleds?
2-What are the best brands?
3-Are there any brands to stay away from?
Thanks,
Bruce

I bought a Continental Cargo snowking all aluminum 7'x28' inline, so far I really like it. I only have 3 sleds but it will fit 4, I went bigger than I needed for the simple fact that I have never heard myself say "I wish I had a smaller trailer". The aluminum keeps it light, I have mine insulated and wired for 110V and it weighs in at 3200lbs. Sorry this is the only pic I could find.

I have a 8X24 haulmark. I am not too impressed with the build quality, as I have had alot of screws break off and some trim fall off too. But besides that I got one with the wheels o the side to make the floor height lower, and I really like that. I wish I would have lowered the ceiling height, I got the standard height, and wish I would have got one 6 inches lower, to make it easier to pull. I wish I would have had it wired also, and with some better lights inside. the side door is almost useless, there is always a sled i the way to use it, we are always climbing up the ramps, and it is much easier to do that with the low floor height.

Don't buy a Mirage. I'm thoroughly unimpressed with mine.

As far as size for 3 sleds goes, my parents have about a 20' Charmac that we can fit three mountain sleds in pretty easily.

I love my Rance Renegade all aluminum. It's actually a car hauler and has the wheel wells inside so it is low to the ground. It's almost too low for deep snow conditions. I think it is labeled as a 24'. We can fit 4 mountain sleds in there with some work, but three is perfect. I think it weighed somewhere around 2500# before all the goodies were added.

I have a 23' Wells Cargo and love it. My last trailer was a Haulmark and my friend has an Intersate and I far prefer the Wells. Tows great and the workmanship it very good. I think the 23' is just right for three sleds.

I had a 25' haulmark inline. ment for three sleds but you could fit four. Just went today and bought a 34' carmac. This is a big trailer. It`s nice to be able to fit four mountain sleds, toolbox, gear and still have plenty of room.

Sled Trlr

Wells Cargo 25'. Kinda tight when you put 2-162's inline but I like it. Here's a picture of most of it.:D

got a new interstate and it is very well built--have installed 7 heaters this year in trailers and the wells cargo and interstate have the best quality as far as build and structure--JMO

Have 2006, 27'' wells Cargo 24'' box, and 3'' V. Pretty well equiped with a Honda generator, almost every tool I can think of, Heater, Yamaha blue Linex floor, Prolly has 30-40k on it and must say I Love it. Holds my SCApex 174'', SCRX 162'', 2 stock 162 Apex's, pretty good. It was a great first enclosed trailer, but now I think bigger would be better... It is a bit tight fully loaded.

Only other trailer I'd throw money at would be a Feather Lite, but they cost more than twice as much and only weigh 320 pounds less. Just can't do it...Yet..lol

Stay away from hallmark. They are poorly built, and dont trailer worth $h*t, They are all over the road !!!!

I 2nd that ...:D Biggest POS I ever bought  Another trailer to stay away from is any thing built by Forest River. Cargo Mate is one example of Forest River. I have a custom ordered v-nose 25 ft car hauler Cargo Mate built by Forest River that I can't load a CAR into because the rear ramp door isnt strong enough. Loaded our car into it once and the door flexed so much it pulled most of the screws out that hold the plywood down.

i own a haulmark right now and have been thinking of buying a bigger trailer to store stuff in the summer.have an aluminum now and will be going to a steel.really like the quality and design of the interstate trailers.i would definetly find a dealer near you and take a look at them. matt

mine pulls great. only 3,000 miles on it and its an 06.i did have a couple issues though.first they installed the wheels backwards at the factory and stripped all the studs.next was a a light that just fell off 15 minutes from the dealer.lol.lucky for me central iowa trailer sales in ames, iowa is top notch and fixed all the issues promptly and reinspected the trailer.a good dealer is really what i look for.i may buy a second haulmark, because of the service. matt

does any manufacture make a fifth wheel enclosed trailer? I think they would handle cross winds much better. I have only seen one and it was a modified bumper trailer.
