Hey i was wondering if anybody had any clutch setups that are working good for them?? I am riding a 09 HCR with Y pipe, Can, and rest is stock, I have ordered a Shift Assist and hard rock rollors for it. I ride in the praries(2000ft) and in the Mountains(8500ft) mostly boondocking in the trees. I am a pretty big guy 6"1 235LB. I am just wondering if anybody has any clutching set up that is working good or ideas for me. Thanks :beer;

if i were in your situation, i would go with the cutler adjustable weights and just add weight for your lower elevation riding. The stock secondary spring worked well for me...

OK i am running 77g weights around 2000ft and at 8500ft i am running 73g.

Phatty are you using the stock spring? Im also running the SLP single and thats the setup i was gonna try. 70 grams with the stock spring

Anybody else got any clutching advice or ideas i can use that is working good??

You may want to drop Jeff Lister a line. I tried his weights last year and they are sick for low elevation. He now has a drop in weight for the 05 on primary. The roller to weight clearance was to tight with the first Gen weight.

A sick helix set up that has been working really well for low elevation and low gears is a 48/42 progressive helix and goodwin's blue/yellow secondary spring and shift assist. Get a dalton billet end cap and open ended helix. This give you some secondary adjustment.

For climbing and better back shift grab up the 48/38 with the same spring.

I can IM you Jeff's Email and you can tell him your weight and HP and he can hook you up with weights. Should be ready for November 09. Here is a picture of the 03-04 F7 kit. The M kit is different and is a drop in now with the new weight for the 05 up primary.

Cheers Don.
