Best choice for snow scoot skis???

W

Well-known member
I have seen some nice sno scoot builds w/ aftermarket skis.
Looks like C/A Pro is the best choice.

I would like to know if I need a bracket to fit the scoot or if they will bolt right on.
Thanks for your help.

I have Kimpex on long track'd Sport and they work really well - good floatation but not too aggressive with 4" carbide - ordered an other set for the other Sport ... $270 in Royal Distributing cat with loops & carbides ... I fab'd up a mount plate to increase the height another 1.5" over stock.

Friend has a scoot with RX1 skis cut down right at the end of the wear bars. I found a used set of skis on eBay last week do $80 shipped. Will cut them down when they show up and slap them on and see how they work on my scoot.

Thanks

Thanks Guys, both great ideas, I would like to see how they look and work off trail.
Thanks.

skis

took set of old vtrack skis and cut 6 inches off the back end.
flipped the mounting bracket around and work good.
could be taller to help put front end higher.`
needs a way to keep snow off front of engine and help it I n deep snow

C&A's. All you'll need is a piece of 3/8" aluminum plate cut to fit under the spindle, and a set of Polaris C&A bushings (one side cut down flush with ski). That's what I did on ours, and it worked perfect!
