Best can for a '05 M7

I have tried searching but haven't been able to find much. I think I found a good deal on a Speedwerx can and am wondering what a good deal for a new one is and if they're worth it for this sled.

I have always had a can on my old 900 and can't stand how quiet the M7 is.

You guys did an awesome job helping decide if I should get my last track so I figured I'd try this again.

THanks!

Mine doesn't have a bog issue now, were cans known for giving one? I consider myself lucky have a sled that hasn't bogged, and don't want to give it one. I guess the main reason I'm thinking about it is that I found a ceramic one brand new for $150.

Cans are known for doing it on the M sleds. I have the Skinz Ultra Q on my sled and it performs flawlessly. Awesome weight loss and great sound without being obnoxious.

I'm pretty sure the sound clip is still on the Skinz/Sled Solutions website from my sled if you want to know what it sounds like.

$150 sounds like its a pretty good deal for a speedwerx ceramic coated can. You could buy it and run a few times, and if you have a bog you could probably sell it for what you paid for it, or even a little more.

i had a speedwerx can on mine, and had the bog. i put an hps on it and it got rid of the problem without changing anything. but everysled is different.

Yeah thats kinda what I'm figuring. Do I have anything to worry about with it being ceramic coated? I've heard of issues, but that seems to be with the ceramic pipes.

I'm rollin the SLP can. No bog, nice sound, not retarded loud but she has a nice bark. Fit and finish is top notch- by far the best of any silencer I've owned.

i got a can i could sell ya , got it with a bigbore 700-925 ,, light and sounds good , not exactly sure what brand it is, its not SW though . 70 shipped lower 48

m7 can

Stock is the safe bet, if you don't want to worry about a bog.

Though, Aaen designed a can specific for m7 efi that sounds really good, and has a good rep. for not causing a bog. They run about $250.

I run stock can with speedwerx single, and my dad runs stock pipe with Aaen can, both of us on 2006 m7's. We like both set ups really well.

I second the Thing can! Sled runs flawlessly, sounds awsome. My wife has a speedwerx can and it works good and fits even better, but in my personal opinion it sounds retarted. Speedwerx is about double the weight of the thing, not much lighter than stock.

used to have a mbrp before pipes and i loved it the only thing i hated is if you were and a super long climb it strts to ring the ears a little but its worth it

My M7 had a Sno-Stuff Rumble Pak on it when I bought it and it runs like a champ. No bog. I would definitely buy again. Only downside, very loud. Not obnoxious, but loud.
