There past reputation.

Has anyone taken both cans to the hills and in the trees and done the exact same thing with each can on the same day at the same time. Thats the only way you will know for sure and of course it wont be exact same time but if you made three pulls(not to close together) then switched the can and starting from the same point and same technique it would give you the best idea. In the trees it would let you know if there are any lags or bogs. (although the lightness and sound might make you think it works better)

braap

we have tried the super q, ultraq, bmp and the slp. and the slp is the best sound but it did crack, and the ultra q is the same.the rest are to loud. the test sled has a amp g cage and a slp intake ,rock rollers ,shift assit and in the deepest pow no bog.sled has almost 2000km and hasn't skipped a beat.we change the pri spring to the 09spring.

PM mmsports

I went with the HPS can and so far it is well worth the money. I got mine from mmsports so send him a PM or call them at (208) 852-0400.

Just installed a SPG Skinz SuperQ SQ-1111C on my 2010 800H.O. (also the same exact can as the SQ-1107C that is for the M1000, just different part #), you can use either one. I spoke with SPG rep directly in Paynesville,MN to confirm this. They just created a separate part# initially to avoid confusion, next years cans will all have the same part#.

Good fit, easy installation, had to drill one 3/8" hole in frame for the second mount, other mount hole uses existing stock can mounting hole.

Nice weight savings, 16lbs! Descent price too-$240

Sound, it seemed a bit louder than I was looking for, but it was hard to tell as I was testing on the stand on dry pavement, I'm sure its quieter on some loose snow and in the wide open, I re-post back after some miles.

Best can for 2010 M8

I like my HPS. It is ceramic coated, about 16lb lighter and looks awsome under the hood. Fit and finish is excellent. I love the sound. It isn't loud at all. It is more money but I think it is well worth it. I have about 500mi on it so far (snow conditions suck) and no issues.:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap:face-icon-small-hap
If you google HPS there is a phone #

I really like the performance of the slp can , mid range there is a noticeable difference, but I wish it were a tad louder, it is very quite maybe quieter than stock. it sounds very good at low rpm but at high rpm it sounds just like stock, not like a aftermarket high-performance can

Cutler can

I too am looking for a can that doesnt loose HP, chatted with Dale Cutler and he said he dyno tested 5 different competitors cans on a 2010 M8 and all of them lost HP up 6hp in some cases, he said his custom built can for the M8 gains up to 4hp throughout mid range and equals stock HP wide open, also he gives you a three year packing warranty on the can, unlike the other brands.

anyone try one yet?
pretty sure Im going with the CPC myself.

Had the sled out today for a last minute run before headed out west to make sure everything was working right. No power loss, but really damn loud! Could hear it plain as day 1/3 mile across the lake!

Can is a Skinz SuperQ on 2010 XF800

The more volume the better, no can alone is going to add hp other than maybe a s/w or slp which might break about even. there is a reason why arctic cat doesnt make their cans the size of a tube of tooth paste.

imagine that

Hps

I have the hps on mine and I love everything about it. 900 miles on it and it has about the same sound level as as when I put it on. I bought one mbrp it got twice as loud in about 500miles wont buy another one!

i have the speedwerx tunnel dump on my 09 m1000, which i know, is not the sled we are discussing but i absolutely love it! NO BOG IN THE DEEP POW PEOPLE!! even if it were to lose a few hp on a dyno, it would more than make up for it when it isn't being capped off on deep right hand sidehills and powder turns.
