Best Can for 08 M8

I have been hearing a lot on loud cans actually losing HP. due to lack of backpressure. Any truth to this? I want to put a new one on my M8 and would like to go a bit quieter, any thoughts? I have heard some good things about the D&D can.

I have a HPS on my 2008 M8 snopro and love it! It fits,looks and sounds great! I prefer not to be the loudest guy on the hill. I would buy another HPS again

I put a ceramic Super Q on my 09. It's fairly loud but not like a D&D or MBRP. If you wanted even quieter you could go with the Ultra Q. Very good fit and quality.

Have the complete D&D power exhaust on my 07...love it. Buddy has same sled with the SLP and we both agree the D&D is better.

Really like my Jaws can.

I think the Jaws is definitely one of the lightest out there.

Definitely a little noisy but has a good tone to it.

I have the Big Dog D&D on my 09 and i love it!!! Sounds very deep it is pretty loud though(sounds like a harley when idling) I am very happy with it have had lots of comments about it.

I liked my super Q, not much hp loss if any. The people I rode with were kind of annoyed by the loudness of it when i really got on it, but it sounded awesome. I now have a full slp exhaust and its almost as quiet as stock. If you want fairly quiet exhaust that will not rob hp go with the slp can or better yet the slp pipe, y pipe, and can.

The Super Q is redesigned and looks exactly like the Ultra Q, with less baffles inside. I just put one on and it's not all that loud...not as loud as I hoped, but I didn't want a screamer like Jaws.

i just put on a d&d barker can with adjustable outlet. im not sure on the adjustable outlet thing... i just left it wide open. but i never had time to take it for a rip but it does have a nice idle tone.

i weighed the stock can with 60 miles on it... it came in at 21 lbs.
weighted the new d&d barker can... it came in at 7 lbs. i knew the stocker was heavy but wow what a difference.

opps... dam... m8 not m1000... m8 can not overly heavy. its about 12.5 lbs stock.
