Best adjustable Clutch weight system for the Pro??

Does anyone make the quick adjustable weights for the Polaris??

The Cutler system for the Cats is great when fine tuning as you can do it in the field without removing your clutch...

New to Polaris and trying to find a company that specializes in their aftermarket parts and it seems difficult to find .....

Heel Clicker is good stuff

I read some instructions on the heel clickers but they seemed dated......do you have to cut out notches in your clutch??

On the Dalton adjustables do you know if you give up any performance for the quick adjustablility?

I see that most of the adjustable weights are weighted at the tip and the middle of the cam arm and "those manufuacturers" say that they perform better.....

Are you running the stock primary spring?? If not what shud I go to?

Any help on Polaris clutching wud be much appreciated

Thanks guys

These motors like the heel heavy weights. They need to be loaded hard in the bottom to mid range. Therefore the Slp mtx weights are a great choice as are belly busters, and several others. Then most run a different helix. Most run the helix That Carl's cycle (google them) sells. I run a 60-40-.36. Carls sells a complete kit that for those that ride in the rockies, works very very well. There are several clutching threads on here. I run an slp blue/pink primary spring whick is very close to stock and do run the stock secondary spring.

Enjoy your Pro. I'm sure you will love it. Great sleds.

Thunnder Weights Heavy Hitters. They were the original adjustable weight and Lon Petersoon can help talk you through setup. Also available through Fett Bros and other distributors.

The Dalton adjustable are great weights IMO... and are able to be adjusted Without the need to remove the weight from the sled. The profile is Very very similar to the polaris series-10 weights when slid on the same pin for comparison.

The cutler weights should be able to be used in the P-85 polaris clutch with just the addition of bushings in the weight-pin-bore.

I'm really warming up to the Super Rat weights...but not offered yet in lighter "empty" weights for the 800's hopefully next year.

Derek At attitude Industries

If you want the ultimate in clutching for the Pro, call Derek and get his set up. He does some machining on weights and it works!!!

All around, Derek is one of the best tuners I have ever been around.

You cannot get a more adjustable aggressive heel and upshift weight than the Heel Clickers IMHO. Compared them to MDS, MTX, Heavy Hitters and stock 10 series. The only down side is that back shift can suffer and require some tuning depending upon your set up. Once you get them figured out, one won't want to run anything else. However, if you one doesn't want to spend the time and patients to dial them it.... would recommend MDS or MTX. Never used the Dalton or Cutler but some folks say they work well.

Have always used the original style that requires primary notches be cut in per their directions. Have not tried the newer "Drag n Fly" version.
