bent tunnel 2013 assault

my tunnel bent on me the other day. I have a sba 144 2013 with b&m running boards. where the rear part of the skid connects to the bracket that then attaches to the tunnel, where the tunnel and bracket meet is where the bend is. looks like the bracket pushed the tunnel out. anyone else have this issue before? or anyone know why?

heres how the bend goes around the bracket, that's on the inside.

Just one side? whats with the tear on lower flange?
Maybe boards or tunnel twist/impact?

its not a tear its where the front and rear part of the tunnel meat. and yes just the one side is buldged out like that. almost like the suspension twisted.

Did you remove some material there to put them boards on?

I think I know why your bending clutch guards too, must be taking some big hits. Lol

yes I had to remove the running boards for the install of the new boards. but I did notice that the pros have the reinforcement on the outside of the tunnel and theres reach back further than my inside ones do. but my inside attachment is biggar on sba than pro. so im not wondering if when replacement of the running boards that we don't need the reinforcement like the pros, just a couple inches further back? I dunno. gunna drop my skid tomorrow to have a better look.
