Benefit of remapping MPEM

I have a 2000 MXZ 600 that is stretched to a 144, some clutching and gearing, I ride with a bunch of 00 & 01 summit 600's, and I can keep up with them no problem but they can climb a lot better than mine.

One of the guys told me to look into having my MPEM remapped that it may help me. would it benefit me and where can I get it done at?

Im pretty sure the MPEM is the same on the mxz and summits, i had the same problem with my mxz with a 144 and i realized the problem was with the front end. the mxz is a trailsled and therefore has a wider skistance and if u have the stock mxz skis ur front end is a plow. i narrowed my front by just using stock summit front end and bought some wide skis and it climbs right with the summits now

HOW was it stretched? Summit skid? MXZ skid with extensions? How do you have it setup in the mounting holes? Track? Gearing? RPM?

Sorry, but a lot can affect it!

A Reflash could give a little bit more hp.....but not a night and day difference. But! They can help with hot midrange and a bit more timing.

I dont know the exact clutching or gearing right now, but I do have it wrote down at home, I know it is geared down and clutching has been changed. I will update that for you guys.

As far as rear suspension, It has the original front suspension and rear suspension with 144 rear rail extensions from 121 - 144.

MXZ's have coupled suspesion, so punching it out that much could definatly affect your ability to climb. The summits are uncoupled and defiantly act a little diffrent in the deeper snow. Im pretty sure the ZX front ends are the same between the MXZ and summit, at least they are identical on my MXZ renegade, and my summit both 2002....
