Belt's for Turbo

Heading to the Horns this weekend to do some ridding. I am a little worried not having a spare belt and not being able to find one anywhere. What has everybody been doing. Is there something that will work to get me back to the trailor or are you guys just riding on a hope and prayer.

The new dealer in forest lake, MN that I switched to, Lakes Arctic Cat, ended up with an early shipment. I had one on backorder through them and they were kind enough to set it aside for me.

The 0627-048 is REALLY close, but I know the M1100T belt is of a new compound that is tougher to resist the high HP output.

m1100 takes a 627-082. non-turbo takes 627-081. there the same size but the 81 is half the price. what's up with that. Should work for spare.

belt number 0627-081 comes on the non turbo 1100 and retails for 89.00 dollars. The belt number 0627-082 comes on the 1100 turbo and has a price of 189.95 dollars. The only difference is the belt compound hardness. They put the softer compound belt in the 1100 turbo and the hard compound belt in the non turbo sled. I think a person is better to clutch for the hard compound (cheaper) belt and you will see much longer belt life. They put the soft compound belt on the turbo so that it would grab better and have less slip. The problem is they screwed up! They should have just clutched for the hard compound belt (0627-081) which cost less than half the price and works better!
