I am sure this belt would go a couple more miles, but why risk it..

Good Spare!

The only belt I've messured was at around 500 miles. The stock 115 is supposed to be 1.46" from the factory. I've found they are about +-.01. With 500 miles on the belt I measured it with digital calipers and found that the belt width (old) was about 1.40"...before you are worried about belt wear check your clutches. Make sure they are alinged and that your sheeves are clean. Check belt-side clearance and play around with them trying various spring/weight/helix combos so that your clutching is dialed in for the riding and elevation you do. At $170 a pop, a little time spent figuring out what works for that particular sled and your elevation along with maintance goes a long way.

When new belt shopping, I have the dealer take the belts off the rack & lay them on the counter. With my trusty digital caliper in hand, check all the belts. I wonder how much $$$ polaris saves on production? EVERY single belt I have ever checked, comes up under spec dimension. 080,1122.115belt# dosent matter. All of them are .020-.040 under spec. Before you ask, NO, its not the caliper. As long as I get a belt to fit what MY CLUTCH is shimmed for, is all I need. I just dont feel right paying full $$, for less than a full belt.:face-icon-small-fro

I broke 3 122 belts on my 2010 Rush, the last one even with the SLP venting. Dealership gave me a 115 belt and I've yet to break that one, they told me the difference is the 115 is a kevlar belt, where the 122 is a composite.

Don't forget that when you are maesuring, you need to measure out to the "projected" width. Since they have beveled corners, you have to measure out to where the corners of the belt would be.
