Belt Squeeling

I have a 2011 pro and am having a problem keeping my belt from squeeling. I am sure something must be out of alignment but not sure what now? I had the clutch aligned and is in the middle range of the Specs. Once belt gets warm it squeels like crazy when I stop. Put new belt on and same problem. I have took more shims out of the clutch but could never get it to stop. Any suggestions?

Time to actually read your owners manual. It tells you what the belt deflection is supposed to be. I'll cheat and give you the spec, it is 1 1/4" Do this and it will stop squealing.

It is probably because of snow getting on the belt through the footwell. Mine does the same thing if I stop after riding in the powder. If I stop after riding on the trail for a bit, it doesnt make a sound. Might look into getting a set of footwell vents.

And I'll bet that if you lifted your sled up on a track stand the track would roll too.
