belt length???

I have been running a 3211070 belt and now have new motor. My problem is that the length of the belt (3211070) is a little too short. Does anyone know the length of the belt and comparable ones a little longer. I also want to run a better belt so a cross reference would help. With the computer age going on, everyone you call doesn't have the charts to find out. All they want is a model number and I'll tell you which belt it takes.

I just went threw this on my modded hawk.. nothing stock was going to cut it.. Ended up researching threw Gates and a few other belt manu. for sizing specs belt length and width and was able to figure out what I needed..
even have several part #s for diff manufactures of the same belt size..
Sorry I didn't save the links.. start with your belt # and find the sizing.. from there its fairly easy..The belt I ended up using is two inches longer than a stocker...

if you get any polaris service manual, in the clutching section there is a list of all the belts with dimensions and center to center distances, and also a description of the belt compound
