Belt eating whore

Does your jackshaft move back and forth? I made it 1200 miles before I pulled cords on a belt, and the next belt has 300 miles and still looks good. Although less common, the 1100Ts can have the jackshaft nut come loose like the 800s.
 
That sucks man. 650 miles on my original running around 230hp, and there's some long multiple wot pulls in the great snow we had this year.
 
Jackstaff is not moving but my clutches are getting ridiculously hot I think maybe spring riding 21 pounds boost and the 174 3 might be the culprit plus I do lots a long pulls without much down time in between but never had belt trouble with my xp running similar set up.
 
Yep it sure does sound like the nut is loose in the chain case. Same issue I'm having. 4 belts in 600 miles. Primary was also sticking on mine maybe a compounded issue. If your off set is 0.090" then your jack shaft nut is loose.

What's you track speed on a stand with the clutches shifted ALMOST all the way out?
If your track speed is around 70 you should be good. I don't care what some will say you can not ride one of these OFF trail at 70 and with more boost and traction something has to give aka the week link. So you will either need heavier weights or lower gears. I betting on lower gears If your clutches are not shifting near full out at wot then they are not working correctly
that is how they are designed to work NOT only shifting half or less...

I've been having trouble with secondaries binding , didn't blow a belt until 450 miles, blown 9 in the last 700 miles, we've found the jackshaft out of spec 3 times, replaced the secondary 3 times because of binding , replaced the primary once because of binding , these clutches are junk !!! enough of warranty replacing garbage parts with garbage parts , installing a TAPP primary and a Team secondary , If the clutches don't hold up to 220 hp , they definitely won't hold up to the power that will be added over the summer
