I am rather fond of my BV2s helmet. I have the goggle setup the expensive one but the idea of freezing my face to impress the likes of Scott doesn't appeal to me. I do wear the goggle setup on rare occasions when it is warm or when we ride with the kids and are going to go slow, but when you kick a 285hp Viper in the *** you get going a little too fast to keep your face warm with goggles. At least I do.
Best part of the BV2s is flipping up the front to help dig buddies out while they have to take off there helmet to breath at 10k altitude and put there helmet and goggles in the snow.
Too each his own though.
Below is my pic, but do me a favor, wait until you see me on the trail and make fun of it to my face.
I guess people still don't understand that it's not about them. It's about the dude in the video...and the backstory.

i wish that original thread was still around for the back story. Wasnt it mortgage paul that started the whole thing?
That's Mortgage Paul in the video.
Huz yur Daddy started the thread "Modular helmets as seen through the eyes of a true mountain rider" where the video started it all.
I posted the acronym and it just sent freaking crazy.
hahah thats right. what ever happened to those guys?? Huz, MP, Duke1n, sledbc ect were a trip. Back in those days the information on how to build a mod sled was endless along with the funny crap people posted back and forth. 383 (cant remeber the rest of his name) on his 383 pound mod sled was priceless as well. Too bad that one cant be brought back from the dead. Now the new age internet ruined it. I had different screen name at those times and did not post a lot as I am a trail trail rider. But I read, laughed and gained a ton of knowledge from the old snowest days.
