Just want a little free advice (and I understand you get what you pay for).
I have just sold the last of the sleds. Since I have not been able to talk any friends into building bikes yet - thought it might not be a bad idea to build a second bike so I least I have someone to ride with. And for my daughter to use for the 3 times she will come out with me this season (just started university).
I have a fully built 300xc with a 121 kit.
I found a really good deal on a 2012 WR450 with a 2014 121 kit. 30 hours on the bike. 5 rides on the kit. It has the race ECU and a few other goodies. And I saw a couple of WR450s out last year, and they seemed to work well. And there is something to be said about Yamaha reliability and fuel injection for something that is not going to be my go-to ride. And this one is fully built already.
Also thought about a KTM 350 to build from? Or even a 250 - but that is likely too small.
Could use a little advice.... Would prefer to get something already put together as I know this fall is going to be busier than heck.
