Bed weight? shortbox chevy

Anyone know the weight of a shortbox chevy. OBS? 92 stepside/sportside. weight should be that much different than a fleetside shortbox.

i cant find anything on the net and no buddies know how much a box would weigh.

Not too heavy for two guys to lift

I think the step sides are just a bit heavier than the fleet side ones. I used to work at a Chevy dealer and the mechanic who did fuel pumps used to have me help him lift them off the frame to get to the fuel pump without dropping the tank. I would bet that they didn't weigh more than 250 pounds.

A good place to look would be www.car-part.com Its a recyclers website where they sell used parts. You can search for the part and they usually list a shipping weight for the complete bed. Good place for used parts too.
