Bed Length and Snowbikes

I am looking at getting a new (to me) truck this summer.

Previously had an 07 Tundra Double Cab but sold it when I got married and started reproducing. Have been towing my bike with a trailer behind my SUV since.

I am thinking about an 06 or newer Tacoma Double Cab with long box, or a 07 or newer Tundra Double Cab with the regular box. Both box lengths are going to be about the same, but the tundra has a much taller tailgate which im sure equates to a more secure platform for bikes.

My KTM with Timbersled LT is just about 11 ft long. I am wondering if two snowbikes would fit in the back of a taco adequately, or if the tundra is hands down the way to go.

Would have the trailer still for long trips and such.

Anyone have pics of the mentioned trucks with bikes loaded up?

bike haul'n

couple of option my riding pals and i have built

we have used about three versions of this the last 15 years for sleds and now the bikes, my truck with my old cabin M8, i built so i can haul two bikes with ease or one sled to shuttle around at the cabin, haven't had the covered trailer out in the winter in 4 or 5 years.

no 11 beds around, so once you have bike hanging out the back, might as well have a more nimble short box, sled haul fine, we have hauled to WEST / WY / Id. very easy one man load and unload.
