Beaver Drying Out

But like the Uintah's you can always find some good snow.
Rode there Tues. The ridgetops are very windblown, but some of the valley's held good snow. This is only a small piece of the Tushar range.(Beaver sounds better)

We saw 5 Mtn. Goat's from about 100yds. They just wandered around eating and could care less about our presence.

had to click on THAT topic. LOL. we are getting thin on snow here up north too. hills are looking this as my hair.

That is pretty terrain you ride in. Goats are everywhere these days too. enjoy.

Pulled out the probe yesterday just to check snow depth in the western uintas.

pretty consistent at 4 ft. Hopefully February is very good to us.

Nice!! looks like they could use more snow also, did you drop off the north ridge and ride the bowls the drop into Marysvale?? I always wondered if you could get into those bowls.

Kurt, or is it uncle Jack now? Next time you get out of the Fillmore Beaver area give me a call. Maybe we should plan a Fairview reunion? M bud has a stae wide lion tag, he just has to call and make sure the quotas arent filled yet. You got any big Toms down your way? Feel like guiding?

absolutely!!!

Next time a big storm slides south of SLC, it would be worth the drive down to beaver... fun fun riding down there!

Fun Fun elk hunting as well! I put in for Beaver Archery Elk this year! crossing my fingers.

Back to riding, i caution anyone riding grandview this weekend. The road is EXTREMLY thin to the top right now. Rode it 5 times in the last 2 weeks, the last being this last tuesday, and it each time its considerably worse.. i was hopping for a blanket tonight but it looks like its not gonna happen. gonna have to head to the north slope probably, i don't wanna beat my sled up that road..

Kev
Got out of the business of chasing longtails several years ago.
I may try to get to the Shootout, if so I'll definitely give you a call.
