Beaver Creek lodge area riding

Myself and a buddy will be coming out to UT to the beaver creek lodge for 4 days of riding next week. Anyone have info on how the snow is around this area or some good places to go. Thanks for any info!!

Great snow right now. Forecasted to be bluebird everyday next week. Should be good for you.

Try taking the trail up to Swan Flats. Take the trail east to the state sheds and from there take the trail north. Its the fastest way to get away from the crowds and higher to the good stuff. Great riding up there.

Thanks for the info. I am pumped somone could fill me in on good places to find fresh powder and good places to go in the area. I only wish I could be out there now and not a week from today.
Too bad i didnt know about this site before...I would have asked you guys if this is a good place. (beaver creek lodge) Anyone heard anything good? I just know I get to ride a 09 rev 800 in UT! Different than the 600 rev in MN!!

Was up there yesterday afternoon. 1-28-09 It was DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP What a blast can not wait until Saturday. I am trying to get off and go Friday afternoon but it is not looking good. We go about 6 inches on our truck at the parking lot from 1 to 5pm. Snowing all the time so the pics did not turn out.

As far as places to go. Head NORTH and watch for gaps in the trees. There is a lot of great areas. Just difficault to explain. If you get a map. Hit St. Charles Peak on a clear sunny day. Look to the north. At the point were the mountain range from the east side of Bear lake meets the mountain range you are in. You can see the Tetons mountains up by Jackson Hole. The view is awesome.

I have been up there with a friend and he has hired a guide I think his name is Brett or Brad(owner of Beaver Creek Lodge) You should call and see what that runs...Maybe hire him for the first day and have him show you around. You can head out of the lodge 3 different dirrections...North, East, and South....All over great riding Just a thought. It was a husband wife trip and the guide tried to take us places the wifes and less experienced riders could make and that would give some of the better riders some nice places to play!!

The owners name is Brian Lundahl

Franklin Basin this snotel is a couple miles below Beaver Lodge.

State Road Shed this camera is about a mile up the road from the Lodge.

What days are you going to be up there? Maybe I can get away for a day and show you around a little.

If you do want to meet up and show us around, fri or sat would be best. It will take my buddy a bit of time to learn how to ride in the deep stuff, 1st timer, and this is only my second time. So factor that in as well and if you want, let me know on here and we can figure something out.
