Bear Paw or Baker 6/7 by myself if I have to!

I don't sled anymore. Riding the XP took all the fun out of it. It was too easy to get everywhere. Anyone wanna trade for an early 90's RXL? Maybe an Ultra, as long as it isn't piped.

My oldest has grown out of his POL 120....That might give you a challenge going up hills you shouldn't be able to make....and it's stock, except for the missing windshield....:D

Last weekend, parking was past the last left hand hairpin, about 2 miles from the turn/bridge to schriebers. Probably about another 3/4 mile further up now, based on the gravel last week.

We'll be up there around noon.

Any commitments yet? Any north sounders have a weather crystal ball? I suppose that I will check the best sources I can tomorrow @ sun up and decide to head north. Baker is a lot closer, so depending on anyone else making a commitment, I will decide the destination in the morning.

I am slightly fairweather this time of year. No sense going in a whiteout/cloudfest.

I will be in a blue Dakota pulling a covered 2 place and on my Blue 02 Edge with a 4m and snowlover sticker on the windshield if you see me, wave.

sounds like high noon at baker. cats in the garage for rehab, black polaris in the back of a white chevy crew cab, the sun's going to come out with 2 feet of fresh

Sure wish the sun would have come out. Weather was poor, but thanks to MAC29, we got a ride in the month of June. Stayed around hood hill. Everything higher was socked in.

Some guys were climbing the west rr grade. 2 made it, the third got stuck. Friends hollered down to him, then left. He was not in a great spot above some rocks and trees.

MAC29 and I rode up to hood hill, messed around a little and when we came back, the sled was still there and no one around. We saw foot tracks on our sled tracks in the meadows. Don't know what was going on. Sucks to have your friends climb a hill you can't, then just keep riding and leaving you stuck for over an hour!!!!

I am sitting in Renton using my AirCard and laptop because my trailer wheel studs all broke off. GoingVertical has rounded up some bolts that will work to get me home we think. Good thing it is the end of the season!!!!

Mental note. Always check lug nuts before and during a trip. Stupid move on my part. At least it wasn't while going 70 on the freeway!!!
