Looked like it was snowing today up there. suppose to get snow for the next couple of days. You never know though, i think the weather men just gets drunk and plays spin the bottle to find the forecast. keeping fingers crossed

tonight to 5 am mst thursday.

Snow will develop over the big horn mountains tonight and continue
through wednesday night. Total accumulations of 6 to 10 inches of
snow are expected during this time. Snow will taper off by late
wednesday night or early thursday morning

Bearlodges website said they only got 4 inches yesterday, and they are suppose to get snow friday but not much. I'm nt thinking the riding is going to get any better than it is. o'well there is always drinking. haha

North Horns

We rode over Pres. wknd and found what we are looking for. We rode south and west the first 2 days, and south and east the last day. It was the best east. We rode with locals on the last day and were in about 4-6 ft of powder all day. Go on the east side of hwy 14. The base isn't near as hard as to the west.

just got back from up by bear lodge found 2-2.5 feet of fresh powder on the north side of bald mtn 1.5 feet everywhere around wyoming high country and 1 foot on the trails up by bald, had a great time, put like 90 miles on the sled wednesday and hardly rode on the trails at all, also only saw 2 other people, a couple of guys from north dakota.

Keep a eye on the snotel sites.. I was just up there last weekend and they have lots of snow, but it is hard. Not a lot of powder, and in parts the streams are starting to open up already. We need a good spring snow storm.

It is pretty much go anywhere you want snow right now, if you know what I mean.

I was at bald mountain on thu the 19th and they had around 2 feet of new snow. Snowtell said 6 inches. Snow is not very good till you get by bald mountain

was out there on sunday (22nd) found really good snow northwest near highcountry and bald mountain. check out a trail map if you dont know where it is.
