Phatty nailed it! The winds are howling up high. Lots more snow coming too. ride someplace safe. stay off the hills for now.
side note. The kid in PC who ducked a rope and got buried and lived..... injured.... His parents are saying he was equiped, had friends with him, very experienced... *******s! Defend a stupid action? They skied squaretop!!!!! I know 3 people who have died there. It is a granite slab and NEVER holds snow.

Holy Blow!!!!!!!!! I think the winds in Murray are hitting about 70mph. I'm eying up a nice roof cornice as we speak. Kind of a flat parking lot landing though. Might be a good You Tuber.

Tonight: Snow. Low around -1. Blustery, with a west northwest wind 22 to 25 mph decreasing to between 14 and 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 6 to 10 inches possible.
Saturday: Snow showers. High near 5. West wind between 13 and 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Rode Daniels to Strawberry Ridge Yesterday afternoon, Only about 18" at the parking lot but once you hit 8800-9000 feet you get a 10" base with 30"+ of dry pow...it was fun thrashing the meadows.

ALL the avy deaths last season were on or before new years, please stay home until mid-season if all you do when riding is high mark, I fear the day I need to use my beacon to find someone thats been buried.Gave this thread a 5 Star as well, you can never preach enough safety!
