I have been waiting a year to get my money back... I want ppl. to be aware of MOUNTAIN FIT HOODS.At the very begining of last year i ordered a set of light weight panels for my rt 1000 from him. It took quite awhile longer for him to send my them then we had discussed but that wasnt a big deal to me. By the time that i got them a friend who had a set had given me his on a little trade i decided to try them out before i went to cutting the new ones for fit, one ride later and i knew that i didnt want them, i called BILL with Mountain Fit Hoods and told him that I didnt think that his panels would put up with abuse that i put my sled thru, he said no problem return for refund.... Well return went by ups next day delivery and refund is I think on the installment plan waiting for its first installment, its been a year and he still owes me over $450.00. I heard from him a couple times after i sent the stuff back and then nothing no money no returning my phone calls, by the time i realized he was a CROOK I had waited too long for visa to help me out. I know last year he went to peddle his wares at the Jackson Hill Climbs, Im hoping he goes this year....Im sorry this is such a long post but i thought you guys should know who the snake oil peddlers are.

I don't know man I'm sorry to hear that and it is a bad deal. I've had good luck with them with two transactions and have no complaints. I like their products and they work very well. I would be interested to hear what the man behind Mountain Fit Hoods would say to you tho...
You were right to send them back, I bought a mountain fit hood for my edge RMK, it lasted 4 rides before cracking (carving in deep snow, never rolled) and losing a chunk of the hood right next to the clutches. I smoked the belt riding it out....that was a $300 mistake.
I've sent 2 emails about the ZRT2 hood and still haven't heard anything back. Guess he doesn't like sellin stuff.
i've called them a number of times and can never get a call back or somebody to answer the phone.

I have two of them. I bought them with the understanding that they don't break. Yeah right. I am not complaining, I like the product. Cheap hoods that are light, but do break after awhile. I am quite hard on stuff so I don't mind buying one every 2 or 3 seasons. I would rather buy a cheap hood that breaks, than an expensive one that also breaks. Sorry to hear you had issues with them. I think there are a lot of small shops that are run out of someones garage. I think Mtn.fit might be like that? Buyer beware! Good Luck-00's

my mountain fit hood was excellent quality. I had a couple of bad hits and they popped right out.
It was very hard to get it delivered though. IMO, I would buy one of his hoods from someones' stock or at a snowmobile show. If you need a hood in a reasonable time, he is not the answer.

a lot of guys around here have run them with good luck. I have one on mine in the zrt2 style, and its great. They are much cheaper than other models which is a plus and like said before, they ALL will break. You do all the cutting on your own and make it fit how you want it. i received the wrong model initially and they sent me out the correct one right away... anyway just wanted to mention a positive experience with them.
LSB, U got any pics of that hood? That is the one I was interested in but the pic on the wesite isn't very clear.

wtf... maybe you didnt read the first post.. its been a year how is that a$$$ kissing? if you think im maybe just whining then send me my $496 minus $26 for shipping and ill quit whining, i work in the oilfield out here and take care of my custermers as quick as possible whiners or not, money is money, 9 or 10 months ago i would have told others that he had a good looking product
that would probably stand up to most abuse hmmm wonder what i tell ppl now.
